The three southern oceans -- Atlantic, Pacific and Indian converge on Antarctica. The body of water between the Antarctica and South America is the Drake Passage -- one of the roughest waterways in the world.

I found a site that has a first person account of a trip to Antarctica including the experience of journeying through Drake Passage on an ice breaker! More cool stories and images of that Antarctic trip can be found at Ray Doan's Trip to Antarctica.
